About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Golden Valley and the greater Minneapolis area. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering reliable solutions and an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys helping customers understand their heating and cooling needs.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and seasonal tune-ups.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Explain repair options, system upgrades, and replacement recommendations to customers.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and parts usage records accurately.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company safety standards.
• Partner with dispatch, leadership, and fellow technicians to provide timely, professional service.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and a professional appearance.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC service experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent training preferred.
