If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you rights over personal information that businesses collect about you. Subject to legal exceptions, you may ask HelpMeFindJobs to:

How to Request Data Removal
To request deletion or removal of your personal information, email [email protected] with the subject line CCPA Data Removal Request.
Please include:
- The email address associated with your HelpMeFindJobs account or job application.
- Your full name.
- Whether you are requesting deletion, access, correction, opt-out assistance, or another privacy action.
- Any context that helps us locate your data, such as the approximate date you created an account or submitted an application.
Do not send government identifiers, financial account numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information in your initial request.
Verification and Response Timing
We verify privacy requests before taking action so that we do not disclose, correct, or delete information in response to an unauthorized request. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address tied to your account or application, provide limited identifying details, or supply signed authorization for an agent request.
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period by an additional 45 days and will notify you of the extension.
What Deletion Covers
A verified deletion request covers personal information HelpMeFindJobs controls, including eligible account, profile, search, application, and support-request records. Some information may be retained when permitted by law, including records needed to complete a transaction you requested, detect security incidents, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, exercise legal rights, or maintain internal records in a deidentified or aggregated form.
When you apply to a job through HelpMeFindJobs, your application materials may be transmitted to the employer that posted the role. Employer systems are controlled by that employer, not by HelpMeFindJobs. To remove information from an employer's applicant system, contact that employer directly.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
HelpMeFindJobs does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use personal information to provide job search, account, application, security, analytics, and support functions described in our Privacy Policy.

Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide signed permission showing authority to act for you, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us before completing the request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny service, charge a different price, provide a different level of service, or retaliate against you because you exercised rights under the CCPA. Some features may require information to function, such as an email address for account access or application delivery.
