We are conveniently located off West 66th Street and Lyndale Avenue South and are seeking an Unlicensed Dental Assistant to support our fast-paced, collaborative practice. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the dental field, as no previous dental experience is required. We are open to candidates from other industries, recent graduates, and individuals eager to learn and grow in a healthcare environment. Our goal-oriented team is committed to supporting one another, delivering exceptional patient care, and helping team members develop valuable skills and experience in dentistry.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
- If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Preferred Experience
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Dental assisting school certification
