Milwaukee Burger Company is looking for an energetic, motivated Part-Time Assistant Manager / Server-Bartender to join our team!

At MBC, we believe in serving up great burgers, ice-cold beer, generous portions, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for someone who shares that passion, leads by example, and takes pride in doing things The Way It Should Be!

This is a hybrid position, with approximately half of your shifts spent serving or bartending and the remaining shifts serving as Manager on Duty (MOD).

It's a great opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional looking to develop their leadership skills while staying involved in daily service.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Restaurant Operations

• Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.
• Lead and support front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Maintain standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and restaurant appearance.
• Resolve guest concerns and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily operations.
• Support restaurant leadership in achieving sales, labor, and operational goals.
• Hold team members accountable to Milwaukee Burger Company standards.

Serving & Bartending

• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of our menu, craft beer, and beverage selections.
• Accurately handle orders, payments, and guest requests.
• Work alongside the team to keep service running smoothly.

Team Development & Culture

• Coach, train, and motivate employees.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented workplace.
• Support employee training and development.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant serving or bartending experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• A passion for great food, cold beer, and outstanding guest service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• A sense of humor and a positive attitude!
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
