Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Akron, OH

Shift Information:

• Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)
• Shift times may vary: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, 8 AM - 4 PM, 9 AM - 5 PM
• No weekend work unless on call
• 1-2 weekday call shifts per week, until 7 AM
• 1-2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• 1-hour response time for call

Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent Endoscopy experience is required.
• Must hold an active Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparing and assisting with endoscopic procedures.
• Monitoring patient vitals and providing post-operative care.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Additional Information:

• No working weekends unless called in.
• All required certifications must be active and in hand upon application.
• Background checks will be conducted; candidates with open cases will not be accepted.
• Travel candidates will need to provide one reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty, dated within the past 12 months.
