Machine Operator (1st Shift)

We are hiring a General Production Worker / Machine Operator for a custom plastics manufacturing facility. This position involves operating and setting up production equipment, completing machine changeovers, inspecting parts, and assisting with other production duties as needed. Schedule:

• 1st Shift Monday-Friday (7:00AM-3:30PM)

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational molding machines
• Load plastic sheets and materials into production equipment
• Set up machines according to work orders and production requirements
• Perform machine changeovers, tear downs, and tooling setups
• Monitor machines and finished parts for quality
• Use hand tools during machine setups and changeovers
• Read work orders and follow production schedules
• Use a tape measure and basic shop math
• Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance
• Lift and handle materials up to approximately 40 lbs.
• Assist other production or shipping departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Machine operating experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic mechanical aptitude and shop math skills
• Comfortable using basic hand tools
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures
• Willingness to learn different types of production equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

• CNC machine operation *Can Train*
• Thermoforming
• Rotational molding
• Injection molding
• Extrusion
• Machine setup or changeovers

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
