Staff Nurse (R.N.)

The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Work Location: Magnolia Branches Center, 1307 8th Ave, Floor 5, Ft. Worth, TX 76104 Typical Work Hours: 8 hour shifts (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Must be available to attend the Full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) Qualifications Requirements: Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of three (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
