Housekeeper Position At Mainstreet Lodge

We are seeking a Housekeeper for our assisted living community at MainStreet Lodge. Schedule includes an every other weekend and alternate holiday rotation.

About our community

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans and vacuums common areas on a daily basis.
• Cleans resident's rooms, including bathrooms and replenish supplies on a daily basis. Dusts vents, light fixtures, and doors. Wet/dry mop tile floors and vacuum carpets.
• Cleans equipment and housekeeping room. Keeps housekeeping cart stocked with supplies. Replace vacuum bags and filters.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to resident's needs and maintain a kind and respectful manner.
• Perform all duties in a manner that is consistent with quality standards, infection control, and safety measures, which includes using Standard Precautions, at all times.

Qualifications:

• Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.
• Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
