Preschool Teacher - Long Term Substitute

Chisago Lakes School District 2144 is currently seeking applicants for a Preschool Teacher - Long Term Substitute. The position is located in Taylors Falls with a salary range of $27.42 - $33.94/hour for non-licensed or $32.70 - $43.22/hour if holding a licensed in Early Childhood Education, Pre-Primary, or Pre-Kindergarten. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, for 65 days per year from January 2027 to April 2027. Benefits are not eligible.

To design and facilitate high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the growth of each child across social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language domains. The preschool teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment; partners with families; and collaborates with colleagues to support the success of all learners.

Qualifications include a minimum of four (4) years of preschool or early childhood teaching experience, a valid Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood Education or the ability to obtain one, strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices, effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
