Senior Copywriter

The Senior Copywriter is responsible for using his/her writing and referencing skills, conceptual ability and strategic thinking to enhance the Agency's copy offerings to the Client. Primary job responsibilities include working as a team with art director to develop conceptual approaches to meet client objectives, establishing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with all members of the account team, demonstrating a sound understanding of marketing/advertising strategy, and preparing and submitting work for Med/Legal and DDMAC approvals. The role also requires a high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills, familiarity with medical and scientific information that pertains to Agency brands, and the ability to work in print media and understand other forms of media.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining positive relationships with internal business group departments, communicating effectively and professionally both internally and externally, demonstrating the ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects/deadlines, projecting a professional, positive attitude toward peers and clients, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 2-4 years of healthcare advertising copywriting experience, a copywriter portfolio demonstrating strong creative abilities, excellent oral communication and presentation skills, and knowledge, background, and/or interest in science and medicine.
