Analytics And Insights Support Specialist

In this role you provide custom analytics and insights support to Vizient clients, leading engagements and projects using Vizient data. You translate analyses into actionable recommendations for hospitals and help clients adopt Vizient tools. You will present findings to leaders, guide analytical approaches, and contribute to team best practices, enabling data-driven decision-making and sustained value realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple customized engagements and analyses using Vizient data, covering operations, quality outcomes, and utilization.
• Conduct comparative analyses to evaluate variation in performance and costs, translating findings into strategic insights.
• Serve as a trusted client partner, guiding solutions and promoting adoption of Vizient data and tools.
• Act as subject-matter expert on Vizient data and tools, ensuring analytical rigor across deliverables.
• Plan and facilitate client meetings to gather requirements and communicate findings.
• Apply healthcare operations and finance knowledge to strengthen analyses and insights.
• Collaborate with hospital stakeholders to report on performance against peer benchmarks.
• Ensure timely, accurate data reporting aligned with client needs and requirements.
• Contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.

Key requirements

• 7 or more years of relevant experience
• Hospital quality outcomes, financial, operations, supply chain, or supply analytics experience
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, data management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Vizient data preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work with limited supervision
