Shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates for a night shift opportunity consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. This position will involve providing patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down unit. The role requires permanent experience in similar settings and a commitment to quality patient care.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are essential.
• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required.

Candidate Qualifications

• Prior charge experience preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios in similar healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems is preferred.
• References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months are mandatory for submission.

Additional Information

All candidates must be nicotine-free, except for nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) who are temporarily exempt. A negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine is required within 12 months of the start date, with annual updates required.
